At Seras, we provide UK-sourced biomass fuel of the highest quality. We have dedicated laboratories at each of our processing sites and embedded quality management systems. We work hand in hand with our customers 24/7, 365 days a year to ensure they receive the quality of fuel they require to help their plants run efficiently and effectively.
Biomass is a low carbon energy source which helps support the UK’s renewable energy targets. Biomass fuel is derived from wood, wood waste, plants, forest residues and other organic matter that can be used to make fuel or generate energy.
Seras works with a range of suppliers to source, process and screen sustainable waste wood and forestry by-products. We convert wood waste into biomass fuel and source forestry by-products for our UK power plant customers. Using wood by-products for biomass energy generation reduces the need for fossil fuels and helps cut carbon emissions.
We work in partnership with six of the biggest waste wood power stations around the UK. At some of these power plants we have a production depot on site, helping to ensure seamless and ongoing fuel supply.
Our fleet of more than 100 specialist walking floor trailers, strategically located at depots across the UK,
are specifically designed for transporting fuel.
